Welcome to my journey

While many believe golf to be an individual sport, those who are actively involved in the PGA understand that success in this industry is a team effort. The goal of this blog is to give updates to those who have supported me and continue to be a part of the process of me realizing my dream to become a PGA class A member.

While researching the process in becoming a member of the PGA, I had a tough time finding out what the day to day life is like as a PGA apprentice. I determined that it would be beneficial for those interested in pursuing this career to get a glimpse of the struggles and successes one goes through when chasing this dream. My goal will always be to be honest and forthright in my accounts of this pursuit and I hope golfers get a little added appreciation for what their Club's Professionals do to elevate their golf facility.

Just some quick background information of me so that you get an idea of where I'm coming from.

• Born in Indonesia, then lived in Tunisia, New York, Honduras.
• Lived most of my life in El Segundo, CA. 
• Graduated from U.C.S.B in 07' with B.A in Law & Society.
• Lived in Chicago for 5 years before moving to San Diego to attend the Golf Academy of America where I graduated with honors in Golf Complex Operations and Management.
• Recently engaged to my fiance Claire and living in San Diego, CA with our pet Shiba Inu, Aki.

With all this being said, I want to thank all those who have supported me in getting this far and I hope to make all of you proud.
